Quick Start Route

The safest launch-week plan is to treat your first character as a scout. Battle For Embolia is still changing quickly, so your goal is to unlock systems, test combat feel and record what actually persists between patches.

  • Start with the class that matches your input style instead of chasing an untested tier list.
  • Test each available weapon type as soon as you can equip it, then write down range, recovery time and resource cost.
  • Unlock city services early, because recent notes mention actions that can only be performed inside the city.
  • Use Auto Run and Tab Target if they are available in your build; both were recently mentioned in update material.

Before You Start

  • Check the latest patch notes before choosing a character, because Early Access balance can move quickly.
  • Pick a class based on control style first: ranged magic, mobility, durability or group utility.
  • Expect progression systems, areas and boss rewards to expand during Early Access.

First Session Checklist

  • Finish the opening route and unlock basic combat controls.
  • Test every available weapon type before committing to a build.
  • Save notes on enemy names, zone names, drop names and skill behavior for future guide updates.
  • Do not assume item rarity or boss drops are final until multiple players confirm them.

Early Mistakes To Avoid

  • Do not judge a class only by level-one damage. Movement, cooldown behavior and weapon pairing may matter more in bosses and PvP.
  • Do not dismantle or craft rare-looking items without checking the latest patch notes; blacksmith and NG-grade item behavior has changed recently.
  • Do not log out inside Temple of Adorni unless you are ready to lose the current dungeon run.
  • Do not ignore defensive stats if you want to try Ninja, because Evasive Rage suggests evasion can also become offensive value.

What To Track For Your Own Notes

  • Class name, skill name, cooldown, resource cost and whether the skill works with dual wielding.
  • Weapon type, animation lock, hit range, stun or knockback behavior and best target count.
  • Area route, safe recovery spots, dangerous enemy packs and useful drops.
  • Boss attack names, phase timing, arena hazards and wipe causes.

Best Early Priorities

For the first week, the safest priority is information gathering: map routes, class skills, weapon differences, resource nodes, boss phases and patch changes. This site will turn that data into build pages once testing is reliable.
